Outdoor: Competed at the NSIC Championships in the Discus (24th, 39.61m). Set a PR in the Discus at the UMary Last Chance Meet (47.28m).

Competed in Track and Field and Football at Duluth East High School. Named All-Section and All-District Honorable Mention in 2022. Member of the National Honor Society. 

PERSONAL: Son of Jon Svobodny and Amy Grigal. Uncle was signed by the Buffalo Bills. Majoring in Engineering. Also a member of UMary Football.
