Indoor - Competed at the NSIC Championship in the 800m (5th, 1:55.92) and the Distance Medley Relay (3rd, 10:11.37). Set PR in the Mile at the Marauders Indoor Opener (4:29.21). Set PR in the 1000m at the SDSU Indoor Classic (2:33.98).
Outdoor - Competed at the NSIC Championship in the 800m (5th, 1:56.33), setting a PR of 1:54.84 in the prelims. Set PR in the 1500m at the NDSU Spring Classic (4:02.32). 

PRIOR TO UMARY

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in Track and Field, Football, and Swimming at Mandan High School. Competed at the 2025 NDHSAA State Championships in the 800m (8th, 1:58.37), the 1600m (7th, 4:26.23), and 4x800m (8th, 8:15.59). Also competed at the 2023 and 2024 NDHSAA State Championships in the 4x800m Relay. National Honor Society member. Recipient of the Presidential Academic Award.  Named Academic All-Conference each year from 2020 to 2025. 

PERSONAL: Son of Jeremy and Jaime Butman. Majoring in Electrical Engineering. Member of the Mandan Touchdown Club.
