Indoor - Did not compete.
Outdoor - Competed at the NSIC Championships in the Javelin (19th, 38.61m). Set a PR in the Pole Vault at the Yellowjackets Open (3.45m) and in the Javelin at the Marauders Outdoor Opener (40.65m).

2023-24
Indoor - Set a PR in the Heptathlon (2,935) and Long Jump (5.49m) at the Bison Open. Set a PR in the 60m Hurdles at the Mike Thorson Open (9.84). Set PRs in the 60m Dash (7.66), Shot Put (8.52m), High Jump (1.66m), and 1000m Run (3:52.57) at the Dakota Alumni Classic.
Outdoor - Did not compete.

PRIOR TO UMARY

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in Track and Field and Football at St. Mary's Catholic High School. Named to All-Conference team 12 times. Named to All-Conference Academic team three times. Won two conference championships. Named to All-District Academic team three times. Three-time team MVP. Two-time team captain.

PERSONAL: Son of Cynthia and Scott Surprenant. Majoring in Strategic Communications. Volunteers at local humane society.
