2025 (Sophomore)
Appeared in 37 games and started in 32. Batted .155 with a .225 slugging percentage and a .231 on-base percentage to give her a .456 OPS. Recorded 99 putouts and 16 assists on a .950 fielding percentage. Hit one home run this season against Augustana. Drove in five runners and scored eight times.

2024 (Freshman)
Appeared in 13 games and started seven of them… Hit .350 on the year with seven hits… Slugged .400 to give her an OPS of .750… Drove in two runs and stole one base.

PRIOR TO UMARY

HIGH SCHOOL: She played catcher, third base and middle infield in high school. Sims played in the #1 ranked team in Indiana and the #3 team in the country for the 2021-22 season. Finished her high school career with a batting average of .429 and an on-base percentage of .467. She played in the All-Star High School softball games in 2023.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Melanie and David Sims. She is majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology with a minor in Social Work. She is an active member of the Emerging Leaders Academy at UMary. Sims was the manager of the Clays team.
