2021-22 (Senior)
Appeared in 14 games for the Marauders. Mayer shot 58% from the field. Averaged 6.9 ppg and 5.8 rpg. Mayer scored a season-high 12 points against the St. Cloud State University. Mayer scored two game-winning baskets off of offensive rebounds this season, one against Bemidji State and the other against Concordia St. Paul. He was also named Unsung Athlete of the year at the Night of Champions.

2020-21 (Senior)
Appeared in 16 games for the Marauders. Mayer shot 54% from the field. He was second on the team with 10 blocks. Averaged 4.6 ppg and 2.6 rpg. Mayer scored a season-high 11 points against the University of Minnesota Crookston.  
 
2019-20 (Junior)
Appeared in 7 games... Averaged 11.7 minutes per game... Recorded 25 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. 

2018-19 (Sophomore)
Appeared in all 7 games… Averaged 16.0 minutes per game… Recorded 45 points, 27 rebounds, 5 assists, and 7 steals.

2017-18 (Freshman)
Appeared in 25 games… Averaged 7.8 minutes per game… Recorded 54 points, 31 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 steals… Scored a career high 8 points against Upper Iowa on Jan. 26… Led the team with a 90.0% free-throw percentage.

PRIOR TO UMARY
High School
A state champion track & field athlete and an all-state soccer player, Lucas Mayer helped Bismarck's Century High School boys basketball team win the state's Class A consolation championship in 2016. As a junior Mayer averaged 5.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and .9 blocks per game. In the first game of the state tournament, he registered a double double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. A state high jump champion as a sophomore in 2015, he placed second in the event as a junior in 2016 and helped the Patriots to consecutive state titles. An all-state soccer player who is a two-time all-west region performer, he also owns a state soccer championship.
 
Senior year, Mayer led Century to a WDA tournament title and a runner-up finish in the state tournament.  He was named to the All-WDA team and tournament team as well as being selected to play in the Lion’s All-star game.  Mayer averaged 11.6 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.6 apg, and 1.25 bpg while shooting 58% from the field.  Lucas earned All-WDA and All-state honors in soccer.
 
Personal
A member of the National Honor Society, Lucas is the son of Dave – who played college basketball for the Marauders - and Dawn Mayer and will major in biology and engineering at the University of Mary.
