2019 (Sophomore)
Hoekstra red shirted during the 2019 season to get a year of eligibility back after starting for the Marauders in 9 games during the 2018 season as a true freshman.

2018 (Freshman)
Saw action in week 2 against Bemidji State late in the game and had his redshirt pulled for the season.  Hoekstra started 8 games for the Marauders in the 2018 season and averaged 169.8 yards passing per game.  Hoekstra completed 124-246 passes on the season for 1,358 yards to go along with 9 touchdowns.  His longest completion of the year was a 75-yard touchdown pass to Luke Little on the first play of the game against Northern State.  Hoekstra’s top performance on the year came against Northern State where he finished the day with 281 yards passing along with 3 touchdowns.

High School
Three-time team captain that led his team to two straight AAA playoff appearances in 2016 and 2017. Two-time All-State selection and Two-time WDA All-Conference at Quarterback. Threw for 4,971 yards and 49 Touchdowns and ran for 735 yards and 9 touchdowns in his career at Legacy High School. Multi-sport athlete that lettered in Basketball, Baseball and Track & Field.
