Alberto Albertos Asencio hails from Alicante, Spain.  The son of Salvador Albertos Garcia and Belen Asencio Rojas was born on June 4, 1996.  He plans to major in Physical Education and Exercise Science.  His favorite athletes are Fernando Torres, Rafael Nadal, Ronaldinho, and Usain Bolt.  Alberto’s favorite team is Atletico de Madrid.  He loves beach volleyball and has been playing since he was 3 with his sister, Belen.  His favorite quote: “Lo demostramos hoy por si manana no nos vemos”.  Alberto came to the University of Mary because he loves challenges and he thinks this is a great one with a lot of opportunities.
