The University of Mary Marauders

2018
In her senior season, Jade played in all of the Marauders 19 games and started in 18 of them.  She totaled 1403 minutes on the pitch. She scored 1 goal and had 4 assists. She finished the season with 15 shots on goal.

2017
Jade started and played in all 19 games during the season. She logged a total of 1355 minutes and scored 8 goals on the season. She also had 4 assists and had 3 game winning goals. Jade earned a spot on the Rimrock All-Tournament Team and was voted on to the NSIC All-Conference 3^rd Team. 
Jade also earned NSIC All-Academic honors. 

Jade Smith earned the University Of Mary Athletics Night Of Champions Female Inspirational Athlete Award.

2016
In her second season, Jade played in 14 games, starting in 6 of those games.  She totaled 507 minutes of play and scored one goal against the University of Sioux Falls. This season, Jade earned NSIC All-Academic honors.

2015
In her freshman season, Jade played in 17 games and started in 7 of those games.  She totaled 782 minutes out on the pitch.  She scored one goal against the University of Minnesota Duluth.  She also assisted a goal against Minnesota State University Moorhead.

PRIOR TO UMARY
Jade Smith, a forward from Rochester, England, comes to the University of Mary from West Ham Ladies FC. Jade brings a wealth of experience to our roster, and will be a creative addition to our team in a wide forward role. 

Jade is a very experienced athlete both in soccer and other competitions.  She is a five time Kent schools cross country champion, and she has also found success while competing in triathlons.  She is a two time Kent schools Silver Jubilee Trophy winner with her soccer team.  She is a three time sports woman of the year at Walderslade, and she was also awarded Jack Petchey Achievement Award for contribution to sport.  On top of playing soccer, Jade is also a Level 2 Gym Instructor, Level 3 Personal Trainer, and has earned her FA Level 2 Football Coaching badge.  Outside of soccer she works full time for Charlton Athletic Community Trust teaching and coaching soccer.  She also spends her weekends coaching youth soccer (ages 2-5).

Jade enjoys R&B music, and her favorite movie is She's The Man.  Her hobbies include going out with friends and going to the gym.  Her favorite place to visit is Algarve, Portugal.  Her favorite professional athlete is Kelly Smith (Arsenal FC Ladies).  Her favorite professional team is Gillingham FC. 

Jade is the daughter of Richard and Joanne Smith, and has two sisters, Lauren and Nicole. Jade will major in Coaching and Sports Studies at the University of Mary.
