Biography

2014: University of Mary senior Grant SInger was named to the 2014 Sporting News preseason All-American team.

2013:  The 2013 Northern Sun Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Grant Singer led the league in tackles with 118, including 54 solo stops. The outside linebacker from Turtle Lake, N.D., was second in the NSIC in tackles for loss (16.5), third in fumbles recovered (3), fourth in sacks (7.5) and eighth in interceptions (3). A first team All-NSIC North Division selection for the second straight season, Singer ranked 20th in the NCAA in tackles and 22nd in tackles for loss.
 
Singer claimed a slot on the AFCA All-American team and was both a BSN D2 and Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-American honorable mention selection. He was also a Daktronics 1st team all-region choice, a Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-Super Region Three second team selection and was a finalist for the Cliff Harris Award, honoring the top small college defensive player. Twice he was the NSIC Defensive Player of the Week in 2013 after earning the award once in 2012 as a sophomore.
 
Additionally, Singer is a Capital One Academic All-District selection and a two-time NSIC all-academic choice.

2012: All-Northern Sun North Division 1st team selection as a sophomore. He was the NSIC Defensive Player of the Week for the final game of the season, the first time he has won the award.
