WAYNE, NE – The University of Mary women's golf team has one meet remaining on the schedule before the NSIC Championships. The Marauders will be competing in the Wildcat Classic at Wayne Country Club in Wayne, NE, on April 13 and 14.
The Marauders will be represented by
Sydney Miller,
Annie Neva,
Alyssa Harcharik and
Hazel Emter.
Live results can be found here with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
Northern Sun teams competing at the meet will be Concordia-St. Paul, Minnesota Crookston, Sioux Falls, Minnesota State, Bemidji State, Winona State, Augustana, and MSU Moorhead.
LAST TIME OUT
UMary placed 7
th at the Augustana Spring Invite on April 6, playing 36 holes in one day.
Sydney Miller led the way with a top-15 finish, placing 14
th.
LAST TIME IN NEBRASKA
UMary last competed in the Wildcat Classic in April 2024, placing 10
th.
Hazel Emter is the lone competitor who participated in the tournament that year that will be active for the Marauders this week.
LOOKING BACK
The Marauders ended the year with a 10
th place finish at the NSIC Championships. Then-freshman
Annie Neva led the way with a 16
th-place finish. Following her was

th).
As a result of her strong performance, Neva was named UMary's NSIC Athlete to Watch. Neva started her collegiate career very impressively with three consecutive top-5 finishes.
GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Following her stellar performance at the Tracy Lane Memorial Invitational, sophomore
Annie Neva was named the NSIC Co-Golfer of the Week. Neva had the lowest round of any golfer in the tournament and claimed the fourth top-5 finish of her young career.
PRESEASON POLL
UMary was ranked 9
th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Marauders return most of their roster, with Stroh being the only player from the conference championship squad that is no longer with the team.
NEW FACES
Demi Bolin and
Sydney Miller were added to the team this year as first-year players. Bolin was an All-Conference golfer in Indiana. Miller was an All-State team captain of the Minnesota Class AA state champions, Detroit Lakes High School.
