UMary moved up to ACHA MD1 for the 2023-24 season and went 1-1 at the 2024 national tournaments, opening with a 3-1 win over West Chester University as the #10 seed before falling 2-1 to Liberty University in round two. The Marauders have a record of 14-3 over the course of five ACHA national tournaments.

Following a runner-up finish at the Midwest College Hockey playoffs that included a 1-0 win over #7 University of Jamestown, the Marauders gained a spot in the rankings from the previous week.

In the 16th and final ACHA MD1 rankings of the 2025-26 regular season, the Marauders are ranked #10, a one-slot improvement over the previous poll. The 10th slot matched the top ranking of the season for UMary.

The Marauders are 10-13 against teams currently ranked in the Top 25 and 9-13 against teams qualifying for the 2026 ACHA MD1 tournament.
