#11 Marauders earn 3rd seed for MCH playoffs, will face Iowa State in quarterfinals

BISMARCK, ND – The 11th ranked University of Mary hockey team earned the #3 seed in the 2026 Midwest College Hockey playoffs and will open the tournament against #6 seed Iowa State University at 4 pm on Friday, February 20, in Albert Lea, MN.
 
The three-day MCH playoffs features seven teams and runs Friday through Sunday, February 20-22. Waldorf University hosts the six-game tournament at the Albert Lea City Arena in Albert Lea.  
 
The Midwest College Hockey playoff champion claims the Lindsay Cup and the MCH's automatic berth to the American Collegiate Hockey Association Men's Division 1 national tournament.  
 
Regular season MCH champion Minot State University is the #1 seed, followed by #2 University of Jamestown, #3 UMary, #4 Waldorf, #5 McKendree University, #6 Iowa State University and #7 Midland University.
