BISMARCK, ND – Preparation for the 2025 University of Mary football season is underway. An anticipated 105 football scholar-athletes started reporting to fall camp on Monday with opening day just 24 days away.
 
UMary Head Football Coach Shann Schillinger holds his first team meeting with the 2025 Marauders team on Tuesday, August 5. Players will complete paperwork, pick up equipment and meet with their position groups throughout the day.
 
The first practice of the season is slated for Wednesday, August 6. After breakfast at 7 am, the Marauders gather on their home field at the MDU Resources Community Bowl at 8:45 am. Practice wraps up at 11 am, followed by lunch and an afternoon and evening filled with conditioning, position and team meetings and other team activities.
 
Practices are open to Marauders fans. Opening week practices on Wednesday-Friday, August 6-8, run from 8:45 – 11 am at MDU Resources Community Bowl. Practice on Saturday, Aug. 9, will be on the University of Mary campus from 8:45-11 am.
 
UMary hosts Midland University in a Week 0 meeting on Thursday, August 28. Kickoff in the non-conference game is scheduled for 6:30 pm.
