FARGO, ND – The University of Mary tennis team (3-6, 2-1 Northern Sun) earned their second straight win, defeating Minnesota State University Moorhead (7-6, 1-2 NSIC).
The competition opened with the Marauders sweeping doubles competition, giving them one team point.
Chloe Chong Zhi Jing and
Ilona Freitag impressed in #1 doubles, winning 6-2 over Luzmary Diaz and Shaelyn Johnson.
Maria Estinvil and
Anna Sueflohn won 6-4 in #2 doubles over Sophia Felderman and Tiannah Gu.
Valeria Bradley and
Luba Moyo defeated Katryna Hansen and Claire Nemmers 6-4 in #3 doubles.
Chloe Chong Zhi Jing earned a 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 victory over Shaelyn Johnson in #1 singles.
Maria Estinvil won 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 in #3 singles over Katryna Hansen.
Luba Moyo dominated in #6 singles, defeating Claire Nemmers 6-1, 6-3.
Ilona Freitag fell 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 to Luzmary Diaz in #2 singles.
Anna Sueflohn lost in #4 singles 6-2, 6-1 to Sophia Felderman.
Valeria Bradley was defeated by Tiannah Gu 6-1, 6-2 in #5 singles.
