Power play outage costs #13 Marauders in 4-0 road loss to #5 Jimmies

JAMESTOWN, ND – Unable to take advantage of four power play opportunities, the #13 University of Mary hockey team suffered a 4-0 loss at #5 University of Jamestown in the Marauders final road game of the regular season.

The loss was a triple whammy for the Marauders. Besides the loss on the ice, the defeat costs UMary a chance to catch Jamestown for second place in the Midwest College Hockey North Division. The Marauders are now locked into third place in the MCH North behind Minot State University and the Jimmies to give UMary a #3 seed in the MCH tournament.

Additionally the Jimmies clinched The Jug trophy in the first season UMary and Jamestown has played for the travelling trophy.  The Jimmies have won three of four games between the I-94 rivals with one game to play.
