WAYNE, NE – Concluding their first road trip in over three weeks, the University of Mary men's basketball team dropped an 83-58 decision at Wayne State College.
 
Ty Rogers paced the Marauders effort with 16 points. The junior forward knocked down 8-of-9 free throw attempts, both career highs. He also made 4-of-6 shots from the floor.
 
Wylee Delorme posted a career-high 10 points for UMary (4-15 overall, 2-8 Northern Sun). The freshman from Devils Lake, ND, came off the bench to hit 3-of-5 shots. He hit a trey and made seven trips to the line.
 
Alex Mattes chipped in eight points. 
Jeremiah Jones added six points, six rebounds, two steals and two assists. 
Rich Ashu snared a game-high eight rebounds.
 
Matt Noll led the Wildcats (10-7, 4-7) with 22 points. JJ Ferrin added 14. The pair made a combined 15-of-22 shots.
 
The Marauders continue their four-game road trip January 17-18 at the University of Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State University. UMary is next at home January 24 when the University of Minnessota Duluth comes to the McDowell Activity Center.
