BISMARCK, ND – It was a dominant performance by the #13 University of Mary wrestling team as UMary took down the University of Jamestown 44-6.
 
The Marauders won eight matches including, five of them by pinfall and one by technical fall.
 
Kicking off the dual in style was Jaden Verhagen (125), who pinned Elijah Barajas at the 2:32 mark. Kaden DeCoteau (141) earned a pinfall of his own against Pedro Corona at the 3:44 mark.
 
Gabe Wagner (157) earned his first dual victory of the season with a pinfall over Cutter Jones at the 5:00 mark. Keeping up the momentum, Sam Bruss (165) pinned Jahn Williams at the 2:57 mark.
 
#11 Wyatt Lidberg (184) wrestled his way to a 10-4 decision over Diante Taylor. #6 Matt Kaylor (197) earned the Marauders their fifth pinfall of the dual as he pinned Cullen Glatt at the 2:11.
 
Finishing off the dual was Jose Reyes (285), who defeated Daniel Erlandson by a 20-2 tech fall at the 5:57 mark.
 
UMary is now 10-4 overall and 5-2 in the Northern Sun. The Marauders welcome Minnesota State University Moorhead on Thursday, February 15, at 7 pm.
