SIOUX FALLS, SD- A career-high scoring night by
Gunner Swanson led the University of Mary men's basketball efforts in the season finale, an 89-69 road loss to Augustana University.

Swanson was deadly from deep as the sophomore guard knocked down six of his eight attempts from behind the arc. The Bismarck, ND, native added a free throw and made a team-leading three steals in the game.

In his final game with the Marauders,
Zyon Smith added 14 points. The senior guard hit a pair of treys and made all four of his free throws. Smith also had a team-best six rebounds and added two assists.

Ty Rogers and
Marquel Saleek both chipped in nine points off the bench, making a combined 7-of-11 shots. Both had three rebounds and Saleek added three assists.

Isaac Fink led the Vikings with 33 points, hitting five treys and making all ten free throw attempts.

Down as many at 14 in the first half, the Marauders (7-21 overall, 2-20 NSIC) used a 15-5 featuring nine points from Swanson to pull within 40-36 early in the second half before the Vikings (18-10, 13-9) pulled away from UMary.
