Kaia Sueker becomes Marauders all-time NCAA digs leader

BISMARCK, ND - Kaia Sueker has achieved history for the University of Mary volleyball team as the Marshall, MN, native is now the all-time NCAA digs leader for the UMary.

Sueker currently has 1657 career digs, 91 more than the previous record holder Alex Brown (2013-2016). Sueker surpassed Brown in the Marauders match against Winona State University. She had a season-high 23 digs against the Warriors.

Sueker joined the volleyball team for the 2020 season after spending her first season competing on UMary's track and cross-country teams for the 2019 season.

The Marshall, MN, native has 297 digs on the season, which puts her in sixth place in the Northern Sun. She has reached 451 digs in each of the past two seasons.

Sueker and the Marauders return to action at home on Friday, October 25, when they welcome the University of Minnesota Crookston at 6 pm in the McDowell Activity Center.
