Derek Dropik scored off a feed from
Garrett Freeman to open the scoring at 8:47, the only goal in the first period.

Riley Scanlon at 16:00. Playing a puck from slightly behind the net, Scanlon appeared to bounce the puck off Dakota College netminder Rylan Labrie for a 2-0 UMary lead.
Less than two minutes later the Marauders struck again. Skating with a man advantage due to another DCB penalty,
Jaren Hugelen jumped on a loose puck to score his seventh goal of the season to increase the UMary lead to 3-0 with 2:11 left in the period.
Kyle Haden took center stage for the Marauders the rest of the middle stanza. With a pair of Marauders sent to the penalty box within 20 seconds of one another, Hayden and the UMary defense held off a 5-on-3 Dakota College advantage for 83 seconds to end the second period.
The Lumberjacks closed the gap to 3-1 just 38 seconds into the third period on a Leighton Holstein goal. Just 25 seconds later the Marauders retaliated as
