BISMARCK, ND - The University of Mary Swimming & Diving team is preparing for their third meet in as many weeks this Friday at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
The Marauders and Dragons will begin the dual Friday at 4 p.m. from the Nemzek Pool inside Alex Nemzek Hall in Moorhead, MN.
The Marauders have already had a busy start to the new year. After the opening weekend in Aberdeen two weeks ago, the Marauders enjoyed many successes last Saturday in a 123-93 dual victory over the University of Jamestown.
Under the direction of first-year head coach
Abby Loel, the Marauders have many swimmers to keep an eye on as the season progresses, including returning first-team NCAA DII All-American
Victoria Murillo. Other notable returners include
Jordn Wolsky,
Michaela Desmond, and
Camille Merimee.
Maria Strong,
Elise Altringer, and
Madeline Desmond have all got off to solid starts in each of their freshman seasons.
