The Marauders lost the first set to the Tigers 25-10 and the second set 25-15. UMary did not go down without a fight as the Marauders would have a back-and-forth final set resulting in UMary trailing 20-22 late in the third set. The Tigers would go on a 3-0 run, winning the set and the game.

Maddie Cooper had four kills on 12 total attacks

The Marauders will travel to Rollins, FL, to compete in the Rollins Invitational. UMary battled Georgia College and Newberry College on Friday, September 10. The Marauders then take on the University of West Georgia and Anderson University on Saturday, September 11.
