Nehkyah Ellis led the University of Mary volleyball team (3-17, 0-11 Northern Sun) in kills and digs as UMary fell to the University of Minnesota Duluth (12-7, 5-6 NSIC).
The Marauders fell behind the Bulldogs early in the first set and couldn't regain control, losing 25-18.
The second set started more competitive but ended the same with the Bulldogs winning 15-18.
UMD claimed the third set 25-16. UMary trailed 17-14 in the set as the Bulldogs would go on an 8-2 run to finish off the set and give UMD the win.
"Every day is an opportunity to get better. We are continuing to grow and learn. Our focus has to be on consistency and playing our game," said head coach
