HOUGHTON, MI ­– After several stellar performances at the Keweenaw Classic, Morgan Schnabel of the University of Mary Volleyball team has been named to the All-Tournament team. The Marauders junior averaged 17 kills and 12 digs per match.

Schnabel began her tournament with a massive 20 kill, 12 dig performance against Northern Michigan. She added two block assists to the game as well.

Against UW-Parkside, the Lehr, ND native exploded for a career high of 28 kills while recording a hitting percentage of .232. The 28 kills were five kills higher than her previous career high. She narrowly missed recording another double-double, posting nine digs.

Schnabel recorded another career high against Lake Superior State, this time in digs. She posted an impressive 21, seven more than her previous career high. She added 15 kills to her 21 digs for a double-double. Schnabel recorded four block assists against LSSU as well.

Morgan Schnabel and the rest of the Marauders return to action on Friday, September 13-14 at the Runza Fall Classic in Kearney, NE. UMary will battle Nebraska at Kearney, New Mexico Highlands, Arkansas Tech, and Rockhurst University at the Classic.
