LOGAN, UT – The University of Mary hockey team travels to Utah to compete in four games over four days at the Beehive Showcase. The Marauders kick the week off with a game against Brigham Young on Thursday, November 21 at 8:45 PM. They will follow up with a game against Arizona State on Friday, November 22 at 5 PM and a matchup with Utah State on Saturday, November 23 at 8 PM. UMary concludes the showcase on Sunday, November 24 at 12 PM against Montana State.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time the Marauders took the ice was for a pair of wins over the University of St. Thomas. UMary took down the Tommies by scores of 5-3 and 3-1. Five different Marauders accounted for goals in the first game of the series and three different athletes scored goals in the second.
RECORDS
The Marauders boast a 20-3 record. UMary's 20 wins are the most in ACHA Division 2.

The Marauders rank #1 in the West Region Poll this season. The Marauders have been #1 in the west since the first rankings came out last season.
TEDDY BEAR TOSS COMING SOON
The Marauders hockey team will be hosting a teddy bear toss on Friday, December 14 in the game against NDSU. Fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears to throw onto the ice after the Marauders first goal of the game. With your help we will brigten a child's day with the gift of a stuffed animal.
SCORING MACHINES
The Marauders certainly know how to make the goal horn sound. UMary has recorded an impressive 109 goals on the season, averaging just under five goals per game.
Seth Cushing and
Alex Flicek are tied for the team lead, each with 15 goals. Andy Huber is third on the team with 12. A total of 18 different Marauders have found the back of the net this season. Cushing and Flicek are tied for 23
rd in the nation in goals scored.
NOT IN OUR HOUSE
Lance Knudson picked up right where he left off by winning games. Knudson has started the season 12-3, recording 335 saves on the season.
Kyle Hayden has a 8-0 record, recording 151 saves. Knudson's 12 wins are second in the nation and his 335 saves is sixth.
TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK
The Marauders sure know how to distribute the puck with 22 athletes recording assists on the season.
Matt Winkle leads the team with 21 assists.
Kyler Moore is second on the team with 17. Winkle is 21
st in the nation in assists.
BREAKING RECORDS
The Marauders only took two games to break a record from their first season. The Marauders recorded a program record of ten goals in their victory over NDSU in game number two.
Just a few weeks later they matched that record with a 10-0 win over Utah State. The 10-goal victory was the largest victory in program history.
TRIPLED UP
The Marauders have nearly tripled up their opponents in goals scored this season. UMary is outscoring their competition by a score of 109-37.
GOT FANS?
One thing that has not changed from last season is the tremendous amount of support the Marauders receive from the community. For the second year in a row, the Marauders won their first game of the season in front of a sold-out crowd!
