BISMARCK, ND – A hockey fan's dream weekend is nearly here as the University of Mary will host five of the top American Collegiate Hockey Association teams for the 2018 EverSpring Inn and Suites Icebreaker on Sept. 27-Oct. 1. Spread across five days, the six teams will each play four games for a combined 12 contests on the Marauders home ice, the Schwan Cadillac Arena at Starion Sports Complex in Mandan, ND.
Joining the Marauders for the EverSpring Inn and Suites Icebreaker is the University of Denver, Boise State University, Northern Arizona University, the University of Northern Colorado and Williston State College.
The Marauders open the tournament against the University of Denver on Thursday, Sept. 27, in the only game of the day. The puck is set to drop at 8:30 pm.
UMary will play the nightcap each of the next three days. On Friday, Sept. 28, at 7 pm, the Marauders face Northern Arizona. UMary then faces off against Boise State University at 7 pm on Saturday, Sept. 29.
Playing their fourth game in four days, the Marauders finish up their part of the inaugural EverSpring Inn and Suites Icebreaker on Sunday, Sept. 30, against Northern Colorado at 6 pm.
A five-day pass to all 12 games is available at the ice arena for $30. The Icebreaker 5-day pass for children ages 13-18 is $15.
Single day tickets are available at the door for $10 (adults) and $5 (children 13-18).
