BOISE, ID – Less than 16 hours after defeating the host team of the Bronco Invite, the undefeated University of Mary hockey team showed no shortage of energy as the Marauders skated past Weber State University 7-1. Hot-handed Andrew Huber posted a hat trick to pace UMary to its 11th straight win.
 
The Marauders led 7-0 through two periods in the win over Wildcats, who were ranked 11^th in the final ACHA Division II standings last year.
 
Huber has been an explosive force for the Marauders in the Bronco Invite. The Bismarck, ND, native has scored at least two goals in each of the first three games of the invite for a total of seven with one game to play before returning home. On the year Huber has 12 goals in 11 games.
 
UMary struck quickly as Huber tallied just 47 seconds into the game off a feed from Ben Kottmeier. Two minutes later Logan Kraft doubled the Marauders lead. The onslaught continued as Alex Flicek and Zachery Garrett scored unassisted goals for a 4-0 Marauders lead through the first period.
 
Huber needed only 35 seconds to score in the second period, the first of three UMary goals in the stanza. Flicek the added his second goal of the game at 6:47. Huber completed the hat trick in the waning seconds of the period, concluding the Marauders offensive output at 19:29.
 
Lance Knudson stopped 21 shots in the game for the Marauders.
 
In a clean contest, the Marauders were charged with four of the six penalty minutes awarded in the game.
 
The Marauders wrap up their four-game appearance in Boise, ID, against Texas A&M on Sunday, Oct. 7.
