The University of Mary swimming and diving will return home to host a meet against Augustana. The meet will take place on Friday, October 26 at 6:30 pm. This will be the Marauders second home meet of the season.

The Marauders come into this weekends meets with a 1-4 record.
 
LAST TIME OUT
UMary participated in two separate meets this past weekend. They first took on South Dakota State University. The Marauders took home five event wins against SDSU, one of the wins involved breaking a nearly ten year pool record in the 800 yard free relay. The team of Abbey Zajdzinski, Madalyn Scherwinski, Anna Jackson and Victoria Murillo posted a time of 8:03.03. Despite several great times the Marauders would fall to the Jackrabbits 185-103. The University of Mary would follow that meet up with a meet against Sioux Falls. The Marauders would be led by Anna Jackson who broke two school records in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:29.65) and the 1000 yard freestyle (10:48.94). Victoria Murillo would add an event win in the 500 yard free with a time of 5:12.34. This is the fastest time posted in the conference so far this season.
  
OPPONENT RESEARCH: AUGUSTANA
Augustana comes into the meet against the Marauders with a 2-1 record. Augustana competed against the Marauders in the season opener taking them down 246-180. The Vikings ranked third in the NSIC preseason coaches' poll. Augie's lone loss of the season comes against South Dakota State University.
 
 
RECORDS ON RECORDS
The Marauders have already broken eight records this season. Victoria Murillo owns three of those records. She has claimed school records in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:08.13), 200 yard freestyle (1:54.93), and 50 yard breaststroke (31.59). Anna Jackson owns three school records as well. She boasts records in the 200 yard backstroke (2:30.15), 1000 yard free (10:48.94), and the 200 yard breaststroke (2:29.65). The Marauders lone diver Mariah Stewart bested her own personal record off the 3 meter diving board. The Marauders have not only broken school records but they have broken pool records as well. The team of Abbey Zajdzinski, Madalyn Scherwinski, Anna Jackson and Victoria Murillo posted a time of 8:03.03 which was good enough to break a near ten year record in the South Dakota State University pool.
 
FRESHMAN PHENOMS
Victoria Murillo has been nothing short of spectacular for the Marauders breaking three school records and posting times amongst the nations best. Murillo, from Cancun, Mexico boasts the conferences current fastest time in the 500 yard free (5:12.34). Not to be outdone, fellow Marauders freshman Anna Jackson owns three Marauders records herself. Jackson currently has the second fastest time posted in the conference in the 1000 yard free (10:48.94).
 
SWEET SWEET VICTORY
Victoria Murillo, Alyssa Boese, Anna Jackson, Andrea Lee, Abbey Zajdzinski and Rachel Rieldel all have one thing in common, they all have taken home event wins this season. These six Marauders have been nothing short of amazing leading the team in each and every meet.
