GRAND FORKS, N.D. - Three Marauders scored in double-figures but the University of North Dakota outscored the Blue & Orange 20-12 in the second quarter to pull ahead and take the 79-67 victory on Tuesday, Dec. 13 in front of 1,265 spectators.
Lauren Rotunda scored a team-high 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting as teammates
Gabbie Bohl and
Rachel Weir each added 14 points apiece.
The Marauders were in the game for three quarters only being outscored 59 to 56 but the second quarter the Fighting Hawks outscored Mary by eight which eventually turned into the lead and the win.
Mary shot 53.1 percent from the floor, 41.7 percent from beyond the arc and scored a game-high 30 points in the paint in the exhibition game.
Up next for the Marauders is a meet up against Minot State in Minot, N.D., at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17.
