This Week: The University of Mary Volleyball team will make a trip to Kearney, Nebraska, to participate in the 2015 Fall Classic Tournament hosted by the University of Nebraska-Kearney. The Marauders will take on Nebraska-Kearney and Northwestern Oklahoma State University on day one, followed by matches against the University of Illinois-Springfield and Chadron State College on day two.

The Records: The Marauders have fought hard to get to 2-3 on the year so far; they went 1-3 in the Peggy Martin Challenge with their lone win coming against Illinois-Sprinfield and losses to Truman State University, University of Central Missouri, and Western State Colorado University. U-Mary's second win came against Dickinson State University for the Marauder's 2015 home opener on Tuesday, September 8. Nebraska-Kearney is sitting at 2-2 after a moderately successful trip to Anchorage, Alaska, for the Spring Hill Suites Invitational. Northwestern Oklahoma State is also sitting at 2-2 with their split in the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Tournament in Goodwell, Okla. Illinois-Springfield is sitting at 0-4 on the year so far after their trip to the Peggy Martin Challenge, including a loss to U-Mary. Finally, Chadron State is sitting at 1-3 after making a trip to San Angelo, Texas, for the Angelo State University Invitational.

History: U-Mary only match against Nebraska-Kearney came in 2008 when the Lopers were ranked #13 in the nation. The Lopers took that match in straight sets in their home tournament. The Marauders have not faced Northwestern Oklahoma State and their only match against Illinois-Springfield came in the Peggy Martin Challenge, which the Marauders won 3-1. Lastly, U-Mary is 3-3 all-time against Chadron State with the teams splitting their two matchups in 2014.

Last Week: The Marauders split the first day of the Peggy Martin Challenge, with a four set loss to Truman State followed by a four set win against Illinois-Springfield. U-Mary couldn't carry the momentum into day two, however as they dropped both matches to Central Missouri, in straight sets, and Western State Colorado, in four sets.
