This Week: The Marauders (3-10, 0-4 NSIC) return home for two games. They'll face Concordia-St. Paul on Friday, Sept. 26, and Minnesota State on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The Records: Concordia-St. Paul sits at 10-2 overall with a 3-1 conference record. The Golden Bears are 1-1 on the road with a win against Upper Iowa and a loss against Minnesota State. Minnesota State is currently 7-4 overall with a 3-1 conference record. The Mavericks are 0-1 on the road with a loss against Winona State.
History: The Marauders are still searching for their first victory against both the Golden Bears and the Mavericks. U-Mary is 0-12 against Concordia-St. Paul with a 0-7 home record. The Marauders lost their only match against the Golden Bears in 2013 at home. U-Mary is 0-9 against Minnesota State with a 0-5 home record. The Marauders lost the lone match against the Mavericks in 2013 at home.
Last Week: U-Mary fought hard in the last set of every match in the previous week but it was not enough as the Marauders went 0-3 against Upper Iowa, Winona State, and #24 Northern State. Lauren Randall led the way for the Marauders with 22 kills, 16 digs, one solo block and one block assist. Janell Finkbeiner and Katelyn Olson split time as drivers of the offense. Finkbeiner totaled 22 assists while Olson earned 37. Alex Brown anchored most of the defense as she earned 33 digs and was helped by Casey Reamann with 24 digs.
