This Week: The Marauders travel to St. Petersburg, Fla., to compete in the Eckerd College Tournament. They will play Queens University of Charlotte and Eckerd College on Friday, Sept. 12, and they will wrap up the tournament on Saturday, Sept. 13, with games against University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras and Chadron State College. After the tournament, U-Mary will open up the conference schedule with a match against fellow North Dakota school Minot State University on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
The Records: After hosting a tournament, the Queens University Royals are 1-3 with their victory coming against the University of Montevallo. The Eckerd Tritons finished 3-1 in a tournament at West Palm Beach, Fla., defeating Quincy (Ill.) University, Barton (N.C.) College, and Kentucky State University. The Eagles are currently 1-3 with their win coming against U-Mary.
History: This will be the first meeting the Marauders will have against Queens University, Eckerd, and Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras. U-Mary dropped to 2-3 all time versus Chadron State and evened up the record to 5-5 against Minot State in the NCAA after the MSU-Billings Tournament.
Last Week: U-Mary dropped the first three games of the season before finally getting head coach Melissa Chaplin her first win in the match against Minot State. After the tournament, the Marauders lost the first home match of the season to the University of Jamestown Jimmies.

Next Week: The Marauders will be on the road for the next three games as they travel to Fayette, Iowa, to take on the Upper Iowa Univeristy Peacocks on Sept. 19. Then they'll head to Winona, Minn., on Sept. 20, to compete against the Winona State University Warriors. Finally they'll close out the road trip with a match against #21 Northern State University on Sept. 23, in Aberdeen, S.D.
