The Wolves are 7-0 and own victories over MSU-Moorhead, Black Hills State University, South Dakota School of Mines, and University of Nebraska-Kearney. The Dragons are sitting at 1-4 after dropping their game the previous week to Northern State, but do own a win over San Francisco State University.

Last Week: The Marauders took on the Beavers from Minot State in the previous week to begin the 2014-15 NSIC schedule. The Marauders fought back-and-forth with the Beavers early in the first half but eventually built up a lead at 20-15 with 7:22 remaining in the half. Minot State struggled to shoot from the floor as they shot 21% in the first half and the Marauders went into halftime up 31-23 off the back of Brittney Dietz's 15 points. The Marauders kept the pressure up in the second half, extending their advantage to 39-24 with 16:00 remaining, but the Beavers came roaring back off a 17-3 run to make it a contest at 42-41 with 10:42 left in the game. From there, both teams made it a back-and-forth affair as neither squad could get a leg up on the other. Eventually, the Marauders held a slim 57-56 lead at the 1:28 mark, but Minot State forced a turnover and held the ball for the last shot with 15 seconds remaining. After a quick timeout from the Beavers, Diondra Denton got the call and drove the ball into the lane. Sloan Turner was there to meet her and the resulting shot was blocked away and U-Mary corralled the rebound to secure the conference win.

History: U-Mary is 8-8 all-time versus the Wolves, with both teams winning their home game in the 2013-14 season. The Marauders are 7-7 against the Dragons and U-Mary is riding a three game win streak after defeating the Dragons in both games in the previous season.
