History: This will be the first time in NCAA history that the Marauders will face Nebraska-Kearney and Canadian Mennonite. Historically, the Marauders have fared rather well against non-conference opponents. The last time U-Mary faced Valley City State was back in 2012 in Bismarck and the Marauders won that game in convincing fashion 69-42.
Next week: The Marauders' next game will be after Thanksgiving against Minot State Unversity on Saturday, Nov. 29 to kick off the Northern Sun schedule in Bismarck. Because of the break, the game versus the Beavers will be the only game played next week. The Marauders will continue their conference schedule the following week against Northern State and Minnesota State University-Moorhead.
