This Week: The Marauders (3-12, 0-6 NSIC) head back out on the road for two games. They'll take on the University of Sioux Falls on Friday, Oct. 3, and Southwest Minnesota State University on Saturday, Oct. 4.

The Records: Sioux Falls' record sits at 7-8 overall, 2-4 in the NSIC. The Cougars own a 3-4 record at home with wins against Northwest Missouri State, Bemidji State, and Minnesota Crookston. SMSU currently sits at 9-5 overall, 4-2 in the NSIC. The Mustangs are 3-1 at home with wins against Sioux Falls, Minnesota Crookston, and Bemidji State.

History: The Marauders are still searching for their first victory against both the Cougars and the Mustangs. U-Mary is 0-3 (0-2 on the road) against Sioux Falls with the Cougars winning both matchups in 2013. U-Mary is 0-14 (0-8 on the road) against Southwest Minnesota State with the Mustangs winning both matchups in 2013.

Last Week: U-Mary dropped both home matches the previous week to #3 Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State. Paige Smith led the offense with 10 kills, two digs and two block assists. Lauren Randell aided the effort as she finished with eight kills, three aces, six digs, and one block assist. Allison Adams rounded out the trio with six kills, one digs, and three block assists. Janell Finkbeiner directed the offense with 22 assists, two kills and seven digs. The defense was anchored by Alex Brown as she earned 15 digs, one kill, two assists, and one ace.

Next Week: The Marauders return home for a three game homestand starting with their Dig Pink Weekend on Friday, Oct. 10, against #13 Wayne State College. They finish the weekend against #16 Augustana College on Saturday, Oct. 11. Coming out of the weekend, the Marauders will host Minnesota State Moorhead on Tuesday, Oct. 14.
