Wrestling Host Final Home Match of the Season

Bismarck, N.D. – The University of Mary will be back in action on Thursday night for their final home match of the season. U-Mary (2-6, 1-5 NSIC) will host Southwest Minnesota State (11-5, 1-4) at 7 p.m.

The match will mark the final home contest for four Marauders' seniors. Brady Anderson, Landon Della Silva, Collin Engelhardt and Kriss McCleary will each be wrestling for their final time at the McDowell Activity Center.
 
Anderson (184) is hoping to make the NCAA championships for a third time this season. The senior from Hamilton, MT, qualified for the national tournament at 197 as a freshman and sophomore before just falling short last year. Anderson is also a two-time Division II All-Academic first team selection. 
 
Della Silva (149) has had successful senior season with a record of 10-8. The Montana native is ranked 7th in the Northern Sun at 149.
 
Engelhardt (157), a Bismarck native, improved to 8-11 with a win against St. Cloud State. Engelhardt placed fifth in the regional tournament last year and ranks sixth in his weight class. The senior also earned national all-academic recognition last year.
 
McCleary  (197) was ranked in the top five at his weight at the beginning of the year, but has since dropped to 11th. The 197 pounder earned national all-academic recognition last year.
 
U-Mary will finish up the regular season on Feb. 13 as they head to Aberdeen, S.D. to take on Northern State.
