Box Score Crookston, MN – One day after giving up a season-high five goals, the University of Mary women's soccer team managed a complete reversal, keeping the University of Minnesota Crookston off the scoreboard. Unfortunately the Golden Eagles also kept the Marauders out of the net in a 0-0 scoreless draw.
The Marauders (3-10-3 overall, 3-7-3 NSIC) managed 11 shots while the Golden Eagles (3-9-4, 1-8-4) had ten. Both only placed four shots on net.

Shelby Buttron recorded her fourth shutout of the season, making four saves. Lexie Gauger matched Buttron save for save to get the shutout for UMC.
Emily Christensen managed the only shot on frame in the two extra sessions, firing a ball on goal halfway through the second overtime, but Gauger made the save. Christensen was the Marauders leading offensive threat, attempting four shots with three on target.
UMC had a 6-1 edge in corner kicks.
The Marauders next host MSU Moorhead on Friday, Nov. 1, in U-Mary's final home game of the season. Start time is 3 PM at MDU Resources Bowl.
