Wayne, NE – Paige Smith had five kills and four blocks to pace the University of Mary efforts in a 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-10) lost to #20 Wayne State College. The Wildcats held a 38-24 margin in kills.
 
Morgan Dake and Allison Adams both had six kills to pace the Marauders (2-12 overall, 2-5 Northern Sun) efforts.
 
Defensively, Valerie Lesu led all players with 15 digs. Lauren Boldt added 13.
 
Melanie Placke led the Wildcats (13-3, 6-1) with a game-high nine kills.
 
The Marauders now return home to host the University of Minnesota Duluth on October 5.
