Marauders Fall Short in Loss to Wildcats

Box Score Bismarck, ND - Unable to hit a basket in the final minutes of the game, the University of Mary suffered a 58-55 loss to Wayne State College in a defensive tussle. The Wildcats took the lead on a three-point play with 4:12 left in the contest and held off the Marauders attempts to rally.

Fouled on his drive to the basket, Nick Wuebker hit the basket and the free throw to put the Wildcats (2-6 overall, 1-3 NSIC) in front. After a basket by Derrell Williams increased the lead to 54-49, Josh Turner hit a three pointer for the Marauders (2-6, 1-3) with three minutes left in the game.
