Bree Ackermann

Bree Ackermann is entering her second season as the assistant coach for the Marauders volleyball program.

Ackermann competed for four years at Wayne State College from 2014-2017 where she made the NSIC All-Academic Team three times. Playing as a libero/defensive specialist for the Wildcats, Ackermann appeared in 115 games.

Ackermann began coaching at Scotus Central Catholic High School in Columbus, NE, where she served as the assistant volleyball coach and head junior varsity coach.

While at Scotus Central Catholic High School, Ackermann worked as an English teacher for 8th and 12th graders. Ackermann graduated from Wayne State College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. In 2022, she earned her master’s degree in English from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Ackermann currently instructs Virtue in Sport courses at the University of Mary.

Ackermann also served as a summer camp volleyball coach for the University of Minnesota, University of Notre Dame, and Wayne State College.
