Entering his second season with the Marauders, Zack McBride is assisting the Cross Country and Track & Field program as a distance and middle distance coach.
 
During his first season with the Marauders the Women’s program pulled off their second consecutive triple crown winning the NSIC Championship in Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track. At the national level, the women’s cross country team was Runner-Ups at the NCAA Championship with 5 NCAA DII All-Americans. The distance group would add 4 more NCAA All-Americans throughout the course of the Indoor and Outdoor Track seasons. The men’s program would be runner-ups at both the NSIC Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Championships with the help of 5 All-Conference finishes from the distance squad.
 
Prior to joining the Marauders, McBride assisted with the Adams State University Cross Country and Track & Field programs from August 2017, through July 2018. During his time at Adams State the cross country and track programs saw great success; this included an NCAA II Cross Country National Championship on both the men’s and women’s side of the program, 34 NCAA II All – Americans and 4 individual NCAA II National Champions.
 
Prior to assisting at Adams State University, McBride competed for Miami University where he was a four time All-Conference runner in the 3000m Steeplechase and the 5000m. While at Miami University McBride earned his Bachelor’s in Business Management and Finance, graduating in May 2017.
 
A native of Painesville, Ohio, McBride graduated from Riverside High School in 2012 where he competed in cross country and track & field. He is proud son to Donald and Kristy McBride and brother of Molly McBride.
 
McBride is currently pursuing his Master’s in Physical Education and Sport Administration at the University of Mary.
