Danylle Kurywchak (Junior, Cameron Park, Calif.) faced her best competition of the season and captured back-to- back titles in the triple jump last week. The junior All-American opened her California trip by setting a school record and posting an NCAA automatic qualifying effort with a mark of 42’ 2.25” at the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Asuza Pacific University. Kurywchak then followed up with a win in the triple jump at the Beach Invitational, hosted by Long Beach State. She captured the event with a provisional qualifying effort of 41’ 5.25”. Kurywchak ranks second in the country in the triple jump.
