The University of Mary Marauders

Caleb Petrie is this week's North Dakota Petroleum Foundation Male Athlete of the Week. The University of Mary Hockey team returned home to the Starion Sports Complex in the Schwann Cadillac Rink as the two-time defending National Champions in the ACHA Men's Division II. Embarking on their final season in ACHA M2, many Marauders shared success leading to a dominating season debut in 6-1 and 8-2 wins over Waldorf University. Petrie, in his first year representing the Marauders in his hometown, contributed the most on the opening weekend. Petrie had 3 assists in his Marauders debut Saturday night, and added one more assist plus netting his first collegiate career goal Sunday afternoon. Petrie leads all Marauders in points with 5 after the first weekend.
