The University of Mary Marauders

Dawson Strom is this week's North Dakota Petroleum Foundation Male Athlete of the Week. As the lone senior on the UMary Men's Cross Country squad, Strom led the way to help give the Marauders a strong start to their fall season. Their season began at sundown when the Marauders ran at the Dragon Twilight in Moorhead, MN. In the return to his hometown, Strom claimed 8th place at the Dragon Twilight running the 6000-meter course in 18:05.15. The time was 3rd best among fellow DII runners, 8th place overall, and helped propel the UMary Men's XC team to a 3rd place finish.
