BURNSVILLE, MN – After helping lead the University of Mary women's basketball team to a 5-0 start, Bergan Kinnebrew was named NSIC North Division Player of the Week.

Kinnebrew is averaging 23.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game to open the season. The Bismarck, ND, native is shooting 47.2% from the field, 52.2% from three, and 90.7% from the free-throw line.

Kinnebrew scored a career-high 36 points in the Marauders opening win against Montana State University Billings at the Tip Off Classic. She was named MVP of the Tip Off Classic after averaging 21.7 ppg, five rebounds, and four assists.

The junior dropped 32 points, shooting 9-of-12 from the field and 13-of-14 from the free throw line in UMary's 76-73 victory over Missouri Southern State University. Kinnebrew also added nine rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.

The Marauders host their first home game of the season on Tuesday, November 18, against Dickinson State University at 6 pm in the McDowell Activity Center.
