Rory Entzi enrolled at the University of Mary in 1987 after a long recruiting battle as he was a highly rated high school basketball athlete from Lehr High School. He graduated from the University of Mary in 1991 after experiencing a very successful athletic career.

Rory started every basketball game from the middle of November 1987 through his senior year at the University of Mary. Many times he played with injuries that would have kept many on the bench. An outstanding shooter and scorer, Rory is still second in all-time scoring with 1,870 points in his four-year career and sixth in single season scoring with 621 points during his 1990-91 season. Needless to say, he was the leading scorer of many games, games in which opposing coaches attempted to design defenses to stop this Marauders scoring machine. Rory was also a great rebounder who ranks fourth on the all-time rebounding list and sixth in career blocked shots.

During his basketball career, Rory was twice-named to the All-District 12 team, was an all-conference player, a Marauders team captain and the team’s most valuable player.
