The Milo Trusty Wrestling Era was from 1988-2002. Milo took an upstart program in 1987-88 and turned it not only into a conference powerhouse, but one of the top-ranked programs in the NAIA. As a member of the North Dakota Collegiate Athletic Conference, Trusty led Marauder wrestling teams to seven consecutive conference championships – 1990-97. The Marauders have also claimed three Regional titles 1994-95, 1995-96, 1996-97. He coached 12 national champions and 77 All-Americans. 

At the NAIA National Championships, the Marauders have consistently been in the Top 10 since 1990-91: 1990-91 9th place • 1991-92 4th place • 1992-93 3rd place • 1993-94 3rd place • 1994-95 7th place • 1995-96 Runner-up to National Champion • 1996-97 Runner-up to National Champion • 1997-98 5th place • 1998-99 6th place • 1999-2000 3rd place • 2000-01 7th place

Milo also coached the following athletes to 12 individual National Championship Titles:
