Maren (Loe) Bisson came to U-Mary in 1993 after a successful basketball career at Washburn High School in Washburn, ND. During her four years as a Lady Marauder, Bisson led the team to three national championship appearances and a number of conference titles. “The contributions Maren made to the Lady Marauder success is immeasurable,” said then Head Coach Roger Haug. “She was one of our greatest.”
Bisson, who graduated with a master’s degree in physical therapy in 1998, is still ranked in the Lady Marauder Record Book. She holds fourth place in rebounding, ranks seventh in all-time scoring, and 14th in all-time assists.
Today, Bisson is a physical therapist at MOSAIC Rehabilitation. She is a clinic manager and runs MOSAIC’s first freestanding outpatient clinic. “Here at MOSAIC we are very proud of Maren and her accomplishments, both past and present,” said her supervisor, Andrea L. Sims.
Bisson and her husband of three years, Mark, live in Seattle, WA.
