Kevin Olson was known on the basketball court as an exceptional shooter and fierce competitor. Professionally, his business abilities, values and ethics brought him success and admiration. What truly set him apart in life, though, was his integrity, courage, moral values and commitment to his family, friends, faith and community.

Born in Dickinson, ND, Kevin was raised on a farm near Scranton and became one the best basketball players in the state. A highly recruited player out of Scranton High School, he enrolled at then-Mary College in 1979. Over the next four years, Kevin helped the Marauders to 94 wins while scoring 1,496 points, the fourth-greatest point total in school history. In 1982, the Marauders compiled a 30-2 record and advanced to the NAIA national tournament. As a senior in 1983, Kevin earned All-District 12 honors. Twice Kevin was inducted into the Marauders Hall of Fame, first in 1991 as a member of the 1981-82 team and again in 1996 as an Outstanding Athlete.
